Preserve helps users build strength training, protein, medication-rhythm, progress, notification, and coaching habits while using GLP-1 medications. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who helps us process it, your choices, and how to contact us.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide or generate in the app, including email address, display name, profile details, age or date of birth, sex, height, weight, goal weight, training preferences, equipment, medication category and dose rhythm, dose logs, progress logs, symptoms, check-ins, workouts, nutrition logs, notification preferences, coach messages, support requests, device or app diagnostics, and subscription status.
How We Use Information
- Create and adjust your strength, protein, and recovery plan.
- Authenticate your account and keep your session secure.
- Send local notification schedules and service messages you request or enable.
- Send lifecycle and follow-up emails, such as helping you finish signing in if you drop off, onboarding and trial guidance, subscription updates, and reminders to come back if your trial or subscription ends.
- Provide AI-assisted coaching and plan-change proposals.
- Operate, debug, protect, and improve Preserve.
- Measure app usage, reliability, errors, and subscription flows.
- Process subscription access and support requests.
Health And Fitness Information
Some information you enter may be sensitive health, fitness, medication, nutrition, symptom, or wellness information. We use it to provide Preserve's app functionality, including plan generation, dose-rhythm context, progress views, check-ins, notifications, and coaching. We do not sell this information and do not use it for third-party advertising.
Analytics, Diagnostics, And Redaction
We use product analytics and diagnostics to understand whether Preserve is working, which screens and features are used, where errors occur, and whether subscriptions are functioning. We design analytics events to avoid sending coach-message content, free-text notes, one-time passcodes, auth tokens, and other sensitive text where possible. AI observability content is redacted unless explicitly configured otherwise for debugging.
AI-Assisted Coaching
Coach messages and relevant app context may be processed by AI service providers, including Anthropic, so Preserve can draft responses and plan-change proposals. AI outputs can be wrong. Review suggestions before acting and follow clinician guidance for medication, symptoms, diagnosis, or treatment.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. Preserve receives subscription entitlement, product, store, renewal, and status information, but does not store your full payment card details.
Service Providers
We use service providers for hosting, databases, caching, email delivery, analytics or diagnostics, AI-assisted coaching, subscription management, crash/error monitoring, and customer support. Current categories include Railway or similar hosting infrastructure, PostgreSQL and Redis infrastructure, Resend or SMTP email delivery, PostHog analytics and diagnostics, RevenueCat subscription management, Apple subscription processing, Anthropic AI processing, and Sentry or similar error monitoring when configured. These providers process data only as needed to provide services to Preserve.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Preserve schedules reminders such as workouts, protein check-ins, dose logging, weekly check-ins, coach updates, and product notices. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
Email Communications
We send two kinds of email. Transactional emails, such as your sign-in code, are required to operate your account and are always delivered. We also send lifecycle and follow-up emails to your email address based on where you are in your Preserve journey, including:
- Reminders to finish signing in if you enter your email but do not complete the sign-in code step.
- Onboarding and guidance during a free trial.
- Updates and tips for active subscribers.
- Win-back messages if your trial or subscription expires or lapses.
These emails may include limited personalization, such as your protein target or your next planned workout, and links to open or download the app. We apply frequency limits so we do not email you too often. Every lifecycle and follow-up email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor one-click unsubscribe and list-unsubscribe headers. Unsubscribing stops lifecycle and follow-up emails but does not stop transactional sign-in emails, which are needed to access your account. We use an email delivery provider (such as Resend or SMTP) to send these messages.
Legal Bases For Processing
Where laws such as UK GDPR or GDPR apply, we process information to perform our contract with you, with your consent where required, for legitimate interests such as security, reliability, fraud prevention, support, and product improvement, and to comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us operate Preserve, with app stores and subscription providers for purchases, with professional advisers where needed, with authorities or others when required by law or to protect rights and safety, and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Data Retention And Deletion
We retain account data while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, and operational purposes. You can delete your account from Settings in the app or contact us. Account deletion deletes your account and associated app data, revokes active sessions, and removes direct access to your profile. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
Your Choices And Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can unsubscribe from lifecycle and follow-up emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails, make many changes in the app, or contact us. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
International Processing
Preserve and its service providers may process information in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and other locations where providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS, authentication tokens, access controls, provider security controls, and redaction practices for sensitive content where practical. No system is completely secure, so keep your email account and device protected.
Children
Preserve is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy as Preserve changes. The updated date above shows when it was last revised. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required.
